Build a realistic budget
Using the lowest published room price, tuition plus insurance plus accommodation is CNY 40,600 per year. Adding the listed registration charge gives CNY 41,100 for that combination before food, travel, visa, utilities and other personal expenses. These are arithmetic planning figures derived from the table, not a university invoice. Ask how the deposit is credited before adding it again to your total.
Make a second budget with no scholarship. If that amount is unaffordable, do not commit based on the possibility of a later award. For Pakistani-rupee planning, obtain the bank’s exchange rate and transfer charges on the payment date; a fixed exchange-rate estimate can become misleading.
Prepare documents in a useful order
Start with identity, final academic records and proof of your language qualification. Check the university’s attachment list for the passport-validity rule, application form, photographs, health and police documentation, statement and CSCA report. Match names and dates across every record. Arrange required translations or notarization early.
Then review the interview and payment process in your own application account. Keep copies of messages and submission confirmations. If a document is still pending, obtain written instructions instead of assuming an agent can waive it. Pay only according to the university’s verified offer and account details.

What Pakistani applicants must check separately
Admission to a foreign university and eligibility to practise medicine in Pakistan are different matters. Confirm the exact institution, programme and relevant PMDC registration requirements before paying a deposit. PMDC’s October 2026 notice removes its mandatory passed-MDCAT prerequisite for foreign admission; this does not itself establish that every foreign programme is acceptable or remove other registration obligations.

Start document preparation before the expected window, but wait for the new notice to confirm eligibility, tests, costs and scholarship conditions.
