Students searching for ETEA MDCAT are often looking for older Khyber Pakhtunkhwa papers, a roll-number slip or the current provincial MDCAT result. These are different tasks. For the checked 2026 cycle, KMU provides the official MDCAT result and answer-key links.
Why the ETEA name appears in MDCAT searches
PMDC’s September 2023 roll-number announcement directed KP candidates to ETEA links. That is dated historical evidence of ETEA’s role; it should not be rewritten as “last year” or used as the registration route for every later examination. Keep the exam year attached to any archived ETEA paper, key or notice.

Where to find current KP MDCAT information
KMU’s 2026 MDCAT page lists the 20 September examination and offers result-card, key and retotaling links. Use that official page for the relevant cycle. A visible retotaling link does not itself prove its application deadline remains open; read the instructions reached through it before making a payment.

MDCAT and KMU CAT are different
| What you need | Correct starting point |
|---|---|
| KP medical/dental entrance-test result | KMU MDCAT portal |
| Older ETEA paper or key | A document clearly labelled with its original exam year |
| KMU CAT for eligible BS/allied-health programmes | Separate KMU CAT portal and programme notice |
| NUMS medical-college test | NUMS notice and syllabus |
Do not choose a form just because its name includes “medical” or “KMU”. First identify the degree and college you want, then check which test that programme accepts. A CAT payment or score is not automatically an MDCAT registration or result.
Official information: KMU: separate CAT registration and instructions; NUMS: official MDCAT 2026 notice and candidate instructions.
How to use an older ETEA paper for preparation
- Write down the year, paper code and source before attempting it.
- Compare its topics against the latest syllabus; flag topics whose inclusion has changed.
- Attempt questions before reading solutions, then record why each wrong answer was wrong.
- Compare a disputed answer with the official key for that exact paper code.
- Use old questions to practise concepts, without assuming the same questions will be repeated.
An answer sequence without its corresponding paper is difficult to use reliably. Likewise, a coaching-centre “solved paper” should not be labelled an official key unless the examining body actually issued it.
Avoid common result and roll-slip mistakes
Check the exam year before entering details. Use the exact CNIC or candidate information requested by the official portal, and do not post your identity number publicly in comments. If your record is missing, retain the application receipt and contact the examining body through its own help channel rather than entering data into several unofficial result forms.
A historical slip shows where a particular past exam was held; it does not reserve a place in a future test. Follow the new registration notice when it becomes available.
2027 preparation
A verified 2027 conducting-body notice or registration timetable was not found in this review. Start studying against the latest official objectives and monitor PMDC and KMU for the next-cycle notice. There is no reason to invent an ETEA 2027 date merely because older search results use that name.
