Khyber Medical University’s official MDCAT page is the starting point for KP candidates checking their 2026 result, paper key or retotaling information. The exam was held on 20 September 2026; completing it is separate from applying for a medical or dental college place.
Official result and answer-key links
The KMU page provides result-card download, retotaling application/result and question-paper key links for codes A, B, C and D. It also lists CNIC-based roll-number lookup. Open the required service from this page so that you use the correct year and official destination.

- Select the 2026 result service and enter the details the portal requests.
- Check your name, roll number, examination year and marks on the returned card.
- Save the result for your admission application.
- If you compare answers, select the key matching your booklet code.
- Read any correction or retotaling notice for its deadline, fee and scope.
Do not assume that retotaling allows a fresh attempt or guarantees a higher score. The service’s own instructions control what is reviewed.
Test regions are not your individual venue
KMU lists D.I. Khan, Kohat, Lower Dir, Malakand, Mardan, Peshawar, Abbottabad and Swat for the 2026 cycle. The region list is historical information; your issued admit card identifies your particular venue and reporting instructions. A future cycle may use a different set of centres.

Syllabus and preparation
Use the PMDC curriculum linked by KMU, and keep track of the year printed inside the PDF. It is not appropriate to relabel a 2025 document as a newly issued 2027 syllabus. Read the subject objectives before using a preparation book or old paper, and check the new cycle’s notice for changes.

After the result: apply for admission separately
Make a list of the colleges and seat categories for which you are eligible. For each one, record the admitting authority, application deadline, required documents, merit calculation and fee-acceptance date. Do not stop after downloading your result: a test score alone is not a college application.
Prepare academic certificates, identity records, domicile/category evidence and equivalence documents where the prospectus requires them. Use the marks and totals actually shown on your records when calculating an estimate. A qualifying test score is different from the final closing merit, which depends on the admission competition.
KMU MDCAT versus KMU CAT
KMU also operates a separate CAT portal for relevant undergraduate programmes. Its instructions say candidates may need to complete both a test application and a campus admission application. That process should not be confused with medical/dental MDCAT. Read the programme’s current requirements before choosing which test to register for.

Problems with your result or portal
Before contacting support, note the exam year, service used and the error displayed. Have your receipt and candidate number available, but do not publish sensitive identification in a public comment. Use the official page’s helpdesk contact for an unresolved lookup or record issue. If the site is busy, retry later rather than making a duplicate payment without instructions.
2027 update
A confirmed KMU MDCAT 2027 schedule was not verified. The completed September 2026 test date is not a future registration deadline. Use this page for the checked result route and begin preparation with the latest verified syllabus while monitoring the next official announcement.
