King Edward Medical University Lahore
King Edward Medical University is the oldest medical institution in Pakistan. It was established around 1860 as a medical school in Lahore. It was a collaboration with the University of Dubin. In the year 1911, it was given college status. In 2005, PMDC recognized it as a chartered university.
According to the “AD Scientific Index,” the ranking of King Edward Medical University in the world is 17829, in Asia it is 9695, and in Pakistan it is 227.

Eligibility Criteria
55% marks in PMC MDCAT and 60% marks in F.Sc. or equivalent
Allied Health Science
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in matriculation or equivalent, 65% marks in F.Sc. or equivalent, and passing marks in the MDCAT result
Allied Vision Sciences
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in matriculation, 60% marks in F.Sc., and 60% marks in MCAT.
Post-RN BSN Porgam
Eligibility Criteria
- 1-year Diploma in General Nursing and 1-year Midwifery registered with Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad.
- For males, a 1-year diploma with the Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad (in any discipline)
- In the case of the public sector, 3-years of regular service on his or her credit and 3-years of service as a staff nurse in the case of the private sector (Regular or public candidates with 1-year regular service with a total of 3-years service can apply against private seats.)
- The age limit is 55 years.
