NUMS MDCAT Test pattern questions are divided into two parts. Part-A includes subjects like biology, physics, chemistry  and English questions. Part-B consists of physiology questions.

In this article, we will highlight the exam and paper pattern for NUMS MDCAT. The entry test shall comprise two components. The details are as follows:

PART-A (MDCAT Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English)

  1. Shall carry 95 % weightage of NUMS MDCAT Entry Test
  2. It will consist of 150 ‘One Best Option Type’ Multiple Choice
  3. Questions (MCQs) with stipulated time of 150 minutes shall have the following breakdown: –
    1. Biology – 35 % (55 MCQs)
    2. Chemistry – 25 % (40 MCQs)
    3. Physics – 25 % (40 MCQs)
    4. English – 10 % (15 MCQs)
  4. Difficulty level for MCQs of Biology, Chemistry and Physics shall be as follows:
    • Easy – 25 %
    • Moderate – 60 %
    • Hard – 15 %

PART-B (Psychological Test)

  1. Shall carry 5 % weightage of NUMS Entry Test (NET)
  2. It will consist of 100 ‘One Best Option Type’ Multiple Choice
  3. Questions (MCQs) with stipulated time of 30 minutes.

Important Instructions for NUMS MDCAT Test Pattern

  • The candidate must reach exam center before 2 hours from designated time
  • Admit Roll number slip is must for NUMS MDCAT exam. downloadre downlaod it form NUMS offical website www. numspak.edu.pk
  • Cadidate must bring the following item for exam:
  • CNIC/B-Form/NICOP/Passport
  • A Neat & Clean Clipboard
  • Blue ballpoint pen, at least two ( No need to bring pencil or pointer)
  • Electronic gadgets like smartphone , mobile phones, and watches are not allowed.

Mark Division

NUMS entry Test has 200 multiple choice questions and The entire Test is divided into four part.

  1. Biology (80 MCQs)
  2. Physics (40 MCQs)
  3. English (20 MCQs)
  4. Chemistry (60 MCQs)

How To choose NUMS Exam Center:

During registration, select a city for the exam center that you can easily reach. There will be two preferences, so select your first and second preferences carefully, because after the submission of the form, you have no option to change the exam center.

Exam centers will be allocated a few days before the exam in the mentioned city.

If you are required to change the exam center after form submission, Then  you should contact NUMS admissions support via email using their registered email for exam center change requests. Attach the challan copy, ID card copy of the candidate, existing exam city, and new exam city.
